Over half of the homes are Mid Century Modern in concept and execution. Since the neighborhood is between three municipalities taxes are low and the area has garnered little attention. A little known gem sparkling in the heart of dixie – the Northcrest subdivision is located at the outer crux of I85 and I285 (south-east of I85 and north of I285), bordered by Chamblee Tucker Road to the south and Pleasantdale Road to the east.

Northcrest Modern is a website created by Atlanta Realtor, Cindi Sokol and is dedicated to the presentation of information involving the Mid-Century Modern style homes within the Northcrest Georgia sub-division and the surrounding areas. Cindi is a current resident with a love of Modern architecture and design, and was inspired to begin collecting information about this unique neighborhood. As most of the original residents are no longer present, it has been a difficult task to discover historical information surrounding this great and unique neighborhood. Cindi’s intent is to collect any information she may be able to find and make it available to those interested.

The site features home throughout the neighborhood – most of which are for sale. Great interior and exterior views along with some original drawings and marketing materials.
